To see what's on in Narrandera, check out the Narrandera Events Calendar.   Narrandera is located in the heart of the Riverina and there are many villages and towns to visit, all within 1 - 1 1/2 hours drive. See heritage towns like Lockhart, visit wineries at Leeton, Griffith or Wagga Wagga.

The town of Narrandera has its own history dating from the mid nineteenth century. A centre of early pastoral wealth the township is classified as a Heritage Precinct with many fine buildings and wide tree-lined streets.

Access is available to the Murrumbidgee River and the Koala Regeneration Area. In summer the Lake Talbot Swimming Pool is a welcome respite and includes a number of pools, rampage ride and waterslides.

You can visit local sites, antique and craft shops, the Tourist Information Centre, Tiger Moth display and farm gate enterprises - including orange juicing, honey, lavender farm, gladioli farm and deer farm or the local museum which contains some rare historical items.

Ask at the counter about koala spotting and how to find the wreck of the PS Wagga Wagga which was once part of the prolific river trade early last century.
